CARE

This project is intended to abolish modern slavery in the cotton textile mills in parts of Erode district. The project is funded by Freedom fund through Geneva Global. The strategy adopted is to form and strengthen community support groups and empower the adolescent girls and boys working in the mills with knowledge of labour laws and rights, company act provisions for lay off and compensation, minimum facilities. By way of strengthening the village communities we are promoting Community Resource Centre, Self help groups, Micro finance and Education support to needy children.
